Getting Started

Reunionary is a free WordPress theme. If you already have a WordPress site, you can be running it in a few minutes. This page walks through the whole process once.

You will need a WordPress site you can log in to and install themes on. Reunionary needs WordPress 6.6 or newer.

Step 1

Install the theme

In your WordPress dashboard go to Appearance, then Themes, then Add New, and search for Reunionary. Click Install, then Activate. You can also download it from WordPress.org and upload the zip.

Step 2

Choose what the front page shows

Under Settings, then Reading, pick a static page for your front page. Most reunions want a welcome page rather than a list of posts.

Step 3

Build the page from patterns

Edit the page and use the block inserter to add a pattern. Each one drops in a complete section you can rearrange, keep, or delete.

Step 4

Replace the words and pictures

Click any heading or paragraph to type over it. Select an image and choose Replace to use your own photograph. Nothing is locked.

Step 5

Adjust the colors and type

Open Appearance, then Editor, then Styles to change the palette and fonts across the whole site at once, rather than page by page.

Step 6

Publish and share the link

Publish the page, then send the address to the people you are trying to reach. You can keep editing after it is live.
